Avenir Light is a clean and stylish font favored by designers. It's easy on the eyes and a great go-to font for titles, paragraphs & more.

This website is operated by Ardovie Ltd, a company registered in Scotland.

Throughout these Terms of Service, the terms "Ardovie", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Ardovie Ltd.

By accessing our website and placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Products

We take great care to ensure that product descriptions, dimensions and photographs are as accurate as possible.

Many of our handcrafted wooden products are made using natural materials. Variations in wood grain, colour, texture and finish are part of the character of solid timber and make each piece unique.

Likewise, handmade ceramics and other artisan products may display small variations in colour, glaze, texture or finish.

These natural variations are not considered faults and are part of the unique character of handmade and carefully selected homeware.

3. Pricing & Orders

All prices shown on our website are in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Any price changes will not affect orders that have already been placed and accepted.

After placing an order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract is formed only when your order has been accepted and dispatched.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:

  • a product is unavailable;

  • an obvious pricing or product description error has occurred;

  • we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity; or

  • we are unable to fulfil the order.

If we cancel your order after payment has been received, you will receive a full refund using your original payment method.

4. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible. Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and may vary depending on product availability, production times for handmade items, and the delivery service used.

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout where applicable.

Once an order has been dispatched, you will receive confirmation where tracking information is available.

5. Returns & Refunds

We want you to be delighted with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you may be entitled to return eligible items in accordance with our Shipping & Returns policy and your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

If you wish to cancel your order after receiving your goods, you may do so within 14 days of delivery, provided the items are returned in their original condition and are suitable for resale.

Please note that bespoke, made-to-measure or personalised items are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period once production has begun, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This does not affect your rights if a bespoke item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

If your item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange a repair, replacement or refund where appropriate.

6. Product Care

Many of our products are handcrafted using natural materials, meaning each piece is unique. Variations in wood grain, colour, texture, knots and other natural characteristics are part of the product's individual character and are not considered defects.

To help preserve the appearance and longevity of your purchase, we recommend following any care instructions provided. In general, wooden products should be kept away from excessive moisture, prolonged direct sunlight and extreme changes in temperature or humidity.

Ceramics should be handled with care to avoid chips or breakages. Artificial flowers and decorative accessories should be kept indoors unless specifically stated otherwise.

Normal ageing and wear over time are expected and add to the character of many handmade products.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, product designs and branding, is the property of Ardovie Ltd or is used with permission.

You may view, download or print content from this website for your own personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

Unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

8. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ardovie Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or the purchase of our products.

Our total liability in relation to any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question, except where the law provides otherwise.
